5 Vodka Cocktails to Try This Summer

Is there anything better than a cold cocktail in hand on a hot day? We don’t think so! Summer is our favorite season for many reasons but most of all – because of endless refreshing and delicious cocktail options!

5 Vodka Cocktails to Try This Summer

Fountain of Youth

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 oz Tito’s Handmade Vodka
  • 3/4 oz St. Germain
  • 3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 2 sprigs of fresh mint leaves
  • 2 oz Mionetto Prosecco

Method:In cocktail glass add Tito’s, St. Germain, lemon juice and the leaves from 1 mint sprig. Add ice and shake vigorously.
Strain over crushed ice. Top with Prosecco. Garnish: Remaining mint sprig and orange wheel.

Tito’s Sweet Green Tea

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Tito’s Handmade Vodka
  • 3/4 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 oz Honey Simple Syrup (recipe below)
  • Green Tea

Method: Combine Tito’s Handmade Vodka, lemon juice, and honey syrup in a mixing glass and shake until proper dilution (10-15 seconds). Fine strain into a chilled Collins glass. Fill Collins glass (or mason jar) with fresh ice and then top off with Sun Brewed Tea. Garnish with a thinly sliced lemon wheel placed onto the side of the glass and a sprig of mint.

To make Honey Simple Syrup:  Combine 1 part honey into one part water. Stir until dissolved. 
Garnish: Lemon Wheel and/or mint sprig

TitoRita

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 oz Tito’s Handmade Vodka
  • 0.5 oz triple sec or orange liqueur
  • 1.5 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1.5 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 0.5 oz simple syrup

Method:Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well, and strain into a cocktail glass or over ice.

For a spicy kick, add three slices of fresh jalapeno to the shaker.
Garnish: Lime wedge or wheel. If you like it salty, rim your glass before mixing and pouring your drink.

Water-Meli Cocktail

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 oz Tito’s Handmade Vodka
  • 2 oz fresh watermelon juice
  • 1/2 oz fresh squeezed lime juice
  • Ginger beer

Method:Combine Tito’s Handmade Vodka, watermelon and lime juices in glass with ice. Stir to combine. Top with ginger beer and serve. Garnish: Lime Slice.

Tito’s All-Time Favorite

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 oz Tito’s Handmade Vodka
  • 4 oz sparkling mineral water
  • Slice of orange
  • Slice of lime

Method:Combine Tito’s Handmade Vodka and mineral water into cocktail glass with ice. Stir and garnish. Garnish: Orange and lime slices.
